Sem 4's new viral infection.

In the midst of semester 4.. it has been noted that the high stress levels has caused several people to have a lower immunity. Due to this condition, it has caused several people to come down with common cold, flu, cough and sorethroats.

But apart from these simple and no-big-deal conditions, clinical evidence has shown that there is clear reason to believe that there is a new bug lingering in the air of IMU.

This new condition was first discovered by Mr. Wong Chi lun and was termed 'stress induced pak toh'. Students who are currently in this condition would show symptoms of day dreaming, hand holding, occasional PDA and frequent smiling faces (edited-- and also pains on the fingertips due to excessive smsing). Although unexplainable, this condition only affects even numbers of people with exactly same ratio of male : female

But we should not fear these infected people as if they are suffering from TB, epidermal fungal infection or other infectious diseases because this condition is not known to spread through any form of physical contact. The only known form of transmission is through a vector known as the lovebug fly. The sharing of bodily fluids is known to accelerate this condition but whether or not it is a cause or a risk factor is still unknown.

As of now, studies in the field of paktohlogy are being carried out to further understand this condition to a better extend.

But as of this moment, it is likely that no cure would ever be available.
