Change in Convocation Time

Breaking news!! Our convocation session has been shifted to Session 2, instead of Session 1. Informed by SAD.

This means that we need to be in IMU at 9.15am on Saturday.

Rehearsal time is the same on Friday, no changes.

When will these Surveys ever stop???!!

Until we filled them, that is.

There are two surveys to fill up:-

1) Survey Questions by MOHE for Research.
- Go here:
- You could choose English version on the top of the website.
- Click ‘Begin your survey here’ and log in with your IC.
- Choose ‘IPTS’ for Institution and search/click for ‘International Medical
- Next, please answer all the questions. Once completed, your ‘Maklumat Profil
Graduan’ will appear. You could print the page for your reference.

- DATELINE: Before 28th May

2) Malaysian Soft Skills Scale Survey (My3S), also by MOHE.
- Go to:
- Only available from 9th May onwards. (Monday)
- Log in using IC and student ID.

- DATELINE: by 17th May

PTPTN Insurance Deduction

For those taking PTPTN, I have been informed via email by SAD that the RM 220.80 that has been deducted from the total amount banked in is for insurance purposes.

This new insurance thing was just implemented, and is actually deducted per semester and also depends on how much you borrow. Please refer the image posted. TQ~

It doesn't matter how long did we take to reach here, but as long as we are here,


It will be the final match.

Between B107 and EOS.

Soon after that, we'll be seen throwing our convo hats.

It's coming in real soon!

The game/match/war/competition is going to start!

Our results may rank us like the bands we see in paper chromatography,

but afterall,

nobody memorises the results of the chromatography consisting more than 100 colors.

NoGAPS 2011

MyPSA National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS) 2011

Venue: University of Malaya
Date: 8th June – 13th June 2011
Theme: To Infinity and Beyond

Participant fees: RM190.00 (for No-GAPS) or RM190+RM50 (for Pre-NoGAPS and NoGAPS)
Information regarding Pre-NoGAPS:

1) Pre-NoGAPS will be held from 8th to 9th June 2011. It is limited to only 16 participants. Therefore, participants will be selected in a first come first served basis.

2) Fees: additional RM50 (inclusive of food and accommodation)

3) The workshop is on tablet manufacturing in the pharmaceutical pilot plant located in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Malaya.

4) It is optional to participate in Pre-NoGAPS.
Hurry up and register with your Public Relation Officer. Registration is from 28th February 2011 till 28th March 2011. Your registration is considered valid only after payment of the participant fee has been made to your Public Relation Officer.

IMU’s Got Talent is back!

A booth will be set up outside the library where u guys can sign up or u can contact any of the committee members for application form. Finalist will be performing at the IMU BALL 2011 in JW Marriott KL.

1) The date of SPA interview is on 22-24th of March instead of 21-24, as SPA do not do interview on Monday. Anyway, do not have to worry much on the exact date, just keep in mind that it will be held that week, cos the namelist will only be announced 2-3 days before the interview.

2) Regarding the size of envelope, if you refer the website, it mentioned A4 size. So take note.
