Ever thought of becoming a student ambassador?

If you have, your opportunity is finally here! SSD and Student Ambassadors 2010 will be hosting an event to share with you what being a student ambassador is all about.
It will be held on the 18th of January 2011 from 5.30-6.30pm at SR4

Here is a sneak preview of what a student ambassador does and the many benefits of signing up as one:
Student Ambassadors (SA) are a group of selected students who represent IMU in various activities, (Both in and out of IMU).
The SA liaise and interact with students, alumni, faculty, staff and even the public.
Our role is also to prepare and assist students in making the transition from the varsity life to a working one.

On top of having an impressive C.V and various other benefits, the student ambassador will receive FULLY PAID training sessions as part of the programme such as leadership camps, personal development, team-building activities and the list goes on.

IMU Open Day

OPEN DAY 2011 still needs student helpers!

We need student helpers as tour guides and usherers.

The payment will be RM15 half day and RM30 per day.

Open day will be on the 16 January 2011, Sunday
Tours are scheduled every 30 mins leaving from the MPH.

For anyone who are interested,

Sem 8 Refresher Course by Mr Benny

If u read the msg sent by Mr Benny via Facebook Pharmacy Yes!, he mentioned that he plan to organise a 2-day refreshing course in clinical pharmacy to prepare us for the hospital attachment.


He plan to have it on Tuesday (9/11) and Wednesday (10/11), he wants to know how many people won't be around? Miss Wong has a concern that those not around may complain. This refreshing course will include the 4 hour lectures on paed, mental health, ICU and elderly, a 3-hour workshop on PCP, and 1 hour formative assessment (MCQ). Please reply asap via sms, comment here, or PM me in facebook if u can't make it.

MyPSA t-shirts

Hey ppl, the MyPSA t-shirts will only be ready end of November or early December.. I worry i might not be in KL at that time and so do many of you.. But worry not, i will ask Kean Ping to keep the t-shirts and so if any of you is in KL, you can come to collect it from him.. I will confirm with you guys again when i have the t-shirts in hand.. :)

Part time work available@IMU

The Marketing & Communications Dept. is looking for a part-timer staff, hoping to start work on Nov 1.

The ITS is also looking for students who are on semester break to work part time there as well.
